Compressor system for seismic operations
Choice of specifications from 10-1600 cfm at 3000 psi
Designed specifically for installation on the lower deck of a sea-going survey vessel, The CCC 1600E delivers up to 1600 cfm at a working pressure of 3000 psig. It features a self-contained freshwater cooling system and a sea-water heat exchanger, all PLC controlled with main motor soft start.
Seismic compressor systems from CCC offer you a fully-integrated, lightweight and compact solution to your high-pressure needs. Each package includes a choice of drive, skid base and control system and is engineered to suit your specific seismic requirements. Our compressor systems have been developed in close association with client companies to meet their exacting demands, and are tried and tested in the field. The 1600E is the result of many years’ intensive product development and testing.
Multiple compressor installations with fully-programmable logic controllers provide a flexible response to your airgun demand. Packages can be supplied as single atmospheric inlet machines or with a screw booster option to facilitate larger flows and pressures.
The 2281-ton Nordic Venturer is a seismic research vessel operated by Nordic Maritime. She uses an array of 4 sleeve guns powered at 2000 psi by a high-pressure air system from CCC.
